Drive Shaft - Installation






INSTALLATION






NOTE: 3 piece shaft shown, 2 piece shaft typical.

1. Install front propeller shaft (15).
2. Install front transmission flange bolts (1) and tighten bolts to 90 Nm (ft. 66 lbs.).
3. Install front intermediate bearing (4) to frame floor and tighten nuts to 105 Nm (77 ft. lbs.).
4. Install center and rear propeller shaft assembly.
5. Install rear intermediate bearing (7) to frame floor and tighten nuts to 105 Nm (77 ft. lbs.).










6. Install front intermediate bearing flange to center propeller shaft with installation marks (1, 3) aligned.
7. Install front intermediate flange bolts and tighten bolts to to 90 Nm (ft. 66 lbs.).





8. Install rear axle flange bolts (11)and tighten bolts 90 Nm (ft. 66 lbs.).
