Front Suspension Lower Ball Joint - Installation






INSTALLATION





1. Install the ball joint (3) into the lower control arm (2) using special tool 9294-3 (Installer ring) (4) inserted in 9294-2 (Receiver) (5) and C-4212F (1).





2. Install the steering knuckle .
3. Install the front strut (1) to the knuckle and install the bolts (2) Tighten to 140 Nm (103 ft. lbs.) Plus an additional 120° turn..





4. Install the caliper assembly (4) and install the caliper adapter bolts (1) and tighten to 80 Nm (59 ft. lbs.) Plus an additional 40° turn.
5. Install the tire and wheel assembly .
6. Lower the vehicle.
7. Check the front wheel alignment .
