Tire Pressure Monitoring (TPM) Module - Installation






INSTALLATION





1. Install the wiring harness connector (2) to TPM module (3) and position on studs.
2. Install the TPM module retaining nuts (1).





3. Position the battery cable bracket (2) on studs.
4. Install the battery cable bracket retainer nuts (1).
5. Position the electrical connector bracket (4) on seat base.
6. Install the electrical connector bracket retainer screws (3).
7. Install the the foam protector from seat base, if equipped.
8. Install the driver seat .
9. Connect the negative battery cable.

10. Perform one of the following to make the system learn the new sensor ID.
a. Use the TPM-RKE Analyzer 9936, with the Scan Tool to program the TPM Module with the tire pressure sensor ID. This is part of the TPM Verification Test TPM Verification Test.
b. Once the vehicle has remained stationary for more than 20 minutes, drive vehicle for a minimum of 20 minutes while maintaining a continuous speed above 15 mph (24 km/h). During this time, the system will learn the new sensor ID. This is part of the TPM Verification Test TPM Verification Test.
