Front A/C Condenser Fan - Description

DESCRIPTION

All models equipped with A/C use electric cooling fans to help remove heat from the A/C system, especially during idle conditions. Without condenser cooling fans, A/C high side pressures would increase and A/C system performance would eventually deteriorate.

The A/C condenser fans consist of two plastic fan blade assemblies (2) which are driven by 12-volt direct current (DC) motors (4). The A/C condenser fans are mounted within a plastic shroud (3) with an integral wire harness connector (5) and four mounting provisions with rubber grommets (1). The A/C condenser fan assembly is located in front of the A/C condenser and the radiator, at the front of the engine compartment.
