1. Discard the old gasket and clean the cylinder head and manifold sealing surfaces.
2. Install a new exhaust manifold gasket.
3. Install the left exhaust manifold to cylinder head nuts. Tighten the nuts to 25 Nm ( 222 in. lbs.)





4. Install the three exhaust manifold bolts (4) on the left side from the crossover pipe to manifold flange. Tighten to 22 Nm (177 in. lbs.). and then add another 90° of rotation.
5. Install EGR tube (3). Tighten to 10 Nm (88 in. lbs.) And then add another 90° of rotation.
6. Install the exhaust elbow (2) to turbocharger bolts. Tighten to 20 Nm (177 in. lbs.). and then add another 90° of rotation.
7. Install the turbocharger heat shield. Tighten to 10 Nm ( 88 in. lbs.).
8. Install the engine cover.
9. Connect the negative battery cable.
