RADIATOR COOLING FAN










1. Install fan blade (5) to viscous clutch. Tighten bolts (4) to 9 Nm (80 lbs. in.).
2. Install fan and clutch along with fan shroud in to engine bay area. Service and Repair

NOTE: The radiator fan assembly is attached (threaded) to the fan pulley. Install the fan blade/viscous fan drive assembly to the fan pulley by turning the mounting nut counterclockwise as viewed from the front. Threads on the radiator cooling fan are REVERSE THREADED (LEFT-HAND THREAD).

3. Install the center bolt (3) of the viscous clutch. Using Counterholder 8930 or equivalent tool (2), tighten bolt to 45 Nm (33 lbs. ft.).
4. Attach coolant line to lower radiator shroud.
5. Properly align and clip the fan shroud into place. Service and Repair
6. Connect negative battery cable.
