Sunroof Switch - Description

DESCRIPTION





The power sunroof switch (5) is a combination push/pull and slider switch mounted in the Roof Control Module (RCM) (1). The sunroof switch is part of the RCM that is directly wired to the sunroof motor. The sunroof switch performs the following functions:

- Power sunroof vent (push up on switch)
- Power sunroof express open (slide back switch pass detent and release)
- Power sunroof full open - vent open (slide back switch)
- Power sunroof closed (pull down switch, or slide switch forward)

The power sunroof switch cannot be repaired. If the individual components are damaged or inoperative the RCM must be replaced, .

NOTE: If the Roof Control Module (RCM) or any sunroof component is replaced, the sunroof has to be normalized. .
