Rear Bumper Steps - Removal

REMOVAL

Bumper Removal





1. Remove the screw from the wheel well.
2. Using a trim stick C-4755 or equivalent, separate the clips and separate the protective strips (4) on the left and right.
3. Disconnect the marker lamp electrical connector.
4. Remove the clips (5) from the bumper corners (2).
5. Loosen the bumper corner upper sections (6) on the left and right from side wall with a trim stick C-4755 or equivalent.
6. Remove the clips (9) at the bottom from the bumper (1).
7. Separate the cable strap (7).
8. Disconnect the Parktronic sensor (9) electrical connector.
9. Open the rear doors.
10. Remove the collar bolts (3).
11. Remove the bumper (1) together with the bumper corners (2).

Bumper Disassembly





1. Remove the bumper.
2. Remove the bumper corners (2) from the bumper (1).
3. Remove the bumper corner upper sections (3) from the bumper corners (2).
4. Separate the Parktronic wiring harness (4) from the bumper (1).
5. Release the retaining tabs from the rear Parktronic sensors (6, 7, 8, 9) and remove the sensors.
