9307-RECIRCULATION DOOR CONTROL CIRCUIT HIGH

- When Monitored:
Whenever the module is awake.

- Set Condition:
When the Recirculation Door Control circuit is shorted to voltage.





1. TEST FOR INTERMITTENT CONDITION
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, record and erase all HVAC DTC's.
3. Operate the HVAC
4. Wait 30 seconds.
5. With the scan tool, read all HVAC DTC's.

Does the scan tool display this DTC as active?

Yes

- Go To 2

No

- The condition that caused this symptom is currently not present. Check for an intermittent condition by inspecting the related wiring harness for chafed, pierced, pinched, and partially broken wires. Also, inspect the related connectors for broken, bent, pushed out, spread, corroded, or contaminated terminals. Repair as necessary.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.Verification Tests

2. RECIRCULATION DOOR CONTROL CIRCUIT SHORTED TO VOLTAGE
1. Turn the ignition off.
2. Disconnect the HVAC Module harness connectors.
3. Disconnect the Recirculation Door harness connector.
4. Turn the ignition on.
5. Measure the voltage of the Recirculation Door Control circuit.

Is there any voltage present?

Yes

- Repair the Recirculation Door Control circuit for short to voltage.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Verification Tests.

No

- Go to 3

3. RECIRCULATION DOOR CONTROL CIRCUIT OPEN
1. Turn the ignition off.
2. Measure the resistance of the Recirculation Door Control circuit.

Does the ohm meter read open circuit?

Yes

- Repair the Recirculation Door Control circuit for an open.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Verification Tests.

No

- Go To 4

4. RECIRCULATION DOOR GROUND CIRCUIT OPEN
1. Turn the ignition off.
2. Measure the resistance of the Recirculation Door Ground circuit.

Does the ohm meter read open circuit?

Yes

- Repair the Recirculation Door Ground circuit for an open.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Verification Tests.

No

- Replace the A/C Heater Control.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.Verification Tests
