9000 - 9999: 9061
9061-ERROR NOT USED: IDA 1 (FRONT) REPORTS DEFECT

- When Monitored:
With the ignition on. Battery voltage greater than 10.4 volts.
- Set Condition:
The TPM Module is unable to communicate with the Tire Pressure Front Transponder.
1. ACTIVE DTC
1. Ignition on, engine not running.
2. With a scan tool, read DTCs.
Is the DTC active at this time?
Yes
- Go To 2
No
- Go To 3
2. FRONT TRANSPONDER
1. Using the scan tool, clear the DTC.
2. Disconnect the Front Transponder harness connector.
3. Start and drive the vehicle. Vehicle speed must be above greater than 16 km/h (10 mph) for at least 10 minutes.
4. With a scan tool, read DTCs.
Does the DTC 9061-Error Not Used: IDA 1 (Front) Reports Defect set?
Yes
- Replace the Front Transponder.
- Perform the TPM VERIFICATION TEST. TPM Verification Test.
No
- Replace the TPM Module.
- Perform the TPM VERIFICATION TEST. TPM Verification Test.
3. INTERMITTENT CONDITION
NOTE: Check for any of the follow conditions:
- Poor wire to terminal connection
- Corroded terminals
- Backed out or loose terminals
- Broken wire internal to the insulation
- Dirty (partial) module ground
Were any of the above condition present?
Yes
- Repair as necessary.
- Perform TPM VERIFICATION TEST. TPM Verification Test.
No
- Test complete.
