9025-PASSENGER SEAT BELT SENSE PLAUSIBILITY ERROR

- When Monitored:
With the ignition on.

- Set Condition:
This Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) will set if the module detects a connection failure at the Passenger Seat Belt Switch or Occupant Restraint Controller (ORC) connectors terminals related to the Passenger Seat Belt Switch. This code may occur in combination with other active DTCs.





Always perform the Pre-Diagnostic Troubleshooting procedure before proceeding. Restraints System Pre-Diagnostic Procedure.

VERIFY OTHER ACTIVE DTCS

NOTE: Make sure the battery is fully charged.

1. Turn the ignition on.
2. Using the scan tool, perform a ORC reset.
3. Using the scan tool, read the active ORC DTC.

Does the scan tool display any other Passenger Seat Belt Switch active DTCs?

Yes

- Go To and perform the appropriate diagnostic procedure.

No

- Replace the Occupant Restraint Controller (ORC).
- Perform RESTRAINT SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST.Verification Tests.
