9025-MASTER SWITCH - LEFT VENT WINDOW SWITCH STUCK

- When Monitored:
Continuously
- Set Condition:
When the Left Vent Window Switch Mux circuit, in the Driver Power Window/Mirror Switch, is held below 9.0 volts for longer than 25 seconds, this code will set.
1. TEST FOR INTERMITTENT CONDITION
1. With the scan tool, record and erase DTCs
2. Operate the Left Vent Switch in all positions several times.
3. Cycle the ignition from on to off.
4. Turn the ignition on.
5. With the scan tool, read DTCs.
Does the scan tool display 9025-MASTER SWITCH - LEFT VENT WINDOW SWITCH STUCK ?
Yes
- Go To 2
No
- The conditions that caused this code to set are not present at this time. Check for any foreign objects or sticky substance in the Driver Window/Mirror Switch and remove as necessary. Also, using the wiring diagram/schematic as a guide, inspect the wiring and connectors.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Verification Tests.
2. LEFT VENT WINDOW SWITCH MUX CIRCUIT PARTIAL SHORT TO GROUND
1. Disconnect the Driver Power Window/Mirror Switch C1 connector
2. Measure the voltage between the Left Vent Window Switch Mux circuit and ground.
Is the voltage above 9.0 volts?
Yes
- Replace the Driver Power Window/Mirror Switch.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Verification Tests.
No
- Repair the Left Vent Window Switch Mux circuit for a partial short to ground.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Verification Tests.
