9024-PASSENGER SEAT BELT SENSE CIRCUIT PERFORMANCE

- When Monitored:
With the ignition on.

- Set Condition:
This code occurs only in combination with other active Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).





Always perform the Pre-Diagnostic Troubleshooting procedure before proceeding. Restraints System Pre-Diagnostic Procedure.

VERIFY OTHER ACTIVE DTCS

NOTE: Make sure the battery is fully charged.

1. Turn the ignition on.
2. Using the scan tool, perform a ORC reset.
3. Using the scan tool, read the active ORC DTC.

Does the scan tool display any other Passenger Seat Belt Switch active DTCs?

Yes

- Go to and perform the appropriate diagnostic procedure.

No

- Replace the Occupant Restraint Controller (ORC).
- Perform RESTRAINT SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST. Verification Tests.
