Auxiliary Heater (ZHZ)

9017-BLOWER MOTOR SPEED INCORRECT (ZHZ)

For a complete wiring diagram Refer to the Wiring Information Electrical Diagrams.

- When Monitored:
With the ignition on.

- Set Condition:
The Blower Motor speed does not match the A/C Control Head output.





CHECK FOR ANY AUXILIARY HEATER DTC'S

NOTE: Make sure the warm water auxiliary heater 2 control unit is not faulty.

NOTE: Make sure the blower motor is not faulty.

NOTE: Make sure the temperature sensor is not faulty.

NOTE: Make sure the overheating sensor is not faulty.

NOTE: Make sure the blower motor wheel is not rubbing or blocked.

1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, read active DTC's.

Does the scan tool display any active DTC's?

Yes

- Refer to the correct diagnostics for the DTC.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Verification Tests.

No

- Check the above conditions that can cause an incorrect Blower Motor speed condition. Repair as necessary.
