Tire Pressure Module (TPM)

- When Monitored:
With the engine running. Vehicle speed greater than 10 mph (16 km/h).

- Set Condition:
The TPM module has detected an internal fault.





1. DTC IS ACTIVE
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, Clear DTCs in the Tire Pressure Monitor (TPM) Module.
3. Start the engine.
4. With the scan tool, select View DTCs.

NOTE: It may be necessary to drive the vehicle. The vehicle speed must be greater than 10 mph (16 km/h).

5. Using the scan tool, read the DTCs.

Does the DTC reset?

Yes

- Go to 2

No

- Refer to the INTERMITTENT DTC Diagnostic Procedure. .

2. CHECKING THE TPM MODULE POWER AND GROUND CIRCUITS
1. Using a schematic, inspect the power and ground circuit the are supported by the TPM Module

Were any problems found?

Yes

- Repair as necessary.

No

- Replace and program the Tire Pressure Monitor Module.
- Perform TPM VERIFICATION TEST. TPM Verification Test.
