4737-IMPLAUSIBLE MESSAGE RECEIVED FROM PSM

- When Monitored:
Continuously with the ignition on, one valid CAN message received at least once

- Set Condition:
When the Anti-Lock Brake Module detects a missing message from the PSM for approximately 200 mSec.





1. CHECK IF PSM DTCS ARE PRESENT
1. With the scan tool, read PSM DTCs.

Are there any PSM DTCs present?

Yes

- Go To 2

No

- Perform the ABS-INTERMITTENT CONDITION TEST. Testing and Inspection.

2. PROGRAMMABLE SPECIAL MODULE (PSM)
1. Replace the Programmable Special Module (PSM).
2. Perform the ABS VERIFICATION TEST. Verification Tests.
3. Road test the vehicle.
4. With the scan tool, read ABS diagnostics.

Did DTC 4737-MISSING MESSAGE FROM PSM reset?

Yes

- Replace the Anti-Lock Brakes Module.
- Perform the ABS VERIFICATION TEST. Verification Tests.

No

- Test complete.
