D700-CD MECHANICAL ERROR-TRAY 1-CDC

- When Monitored:
Continuously with the ignition on and the CD player turned on.

- Set Condition:
The code will set if a CD that is not formatted as a CD is installed in the CD player.





CD PLAYER
1. Replace the problem CD with a good, clean, unscratched CD.
2. Turn the CD player on.
3. With the Scan Tool, read DTCs.

Does the Scan Tool display: D700-CD MECHANICAL ERROR-TRAY 1-CDC?

Yes

- Eject the inoperative CD and replace the CD.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Verification Tests.

No

- Test Complete.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Verification Tests.
