D004-RADIO-HIGH TEMPERATURE OPERATION ACTIVATED-RADIO

- When Monitored:
Whenever the radio is awake.

- Set Condition:
When the radio detects a high temperature.





1. TEST FOR INTERMITTENT CONDITION
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, record and erase DTC's.
3. With the scan tool, read DTC's.

Does the scan tool display D004-RADIO-HIGH TEMPERATURE OPERATION ACTIVATED-RADIO?

Yes

- Go To 2

No

- The conditions that caused this code to set are not present at this time. Using the wiring diagram/schematic as a guide, inspect the wiring and connectors.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST.Verification Tests.

2. RADIO
1. This is a radio internal high temperature code.
2. Allow the radio to cool to normal temperatures.
3. Erase and record DTC's.
4. With the scan tool, read DTC's.

Does the scan tool display D004-RADIO-HIGH TEMPERATURE OPERATION ACTIVATED-RADIO?

Yes

- Replace the Radio.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Verification Tests.

No

- Test Complete.
