90A9-LEFT VENT WINDOW - HIGH TEMPERATURE OPERATION

- When Monitored:
Continuously

- Set Condition:
When the heat in the Left Vent Window Motor exceeds the specified tolerance, this code will set.





1. TEST FOR INTERMITTENT CONDITION
1. With the scan tool, record and erase DTCs
2. Operate the Left Vent Window Motor in both directions several times.
3. Cycle the ignition from on to off.
4. Turn the ignition on.
5. With the scan tool, read DTCs.

Does the scan tool display 90A9-LEFT VENT WINDOW - HIGH TEMPERATURE OPERATION ?

Yes

- Go To 2

No

- The conditions that caused this code to set are not present at this time. Check for any binding conditions in the window and using the wiring diagram/schematic as a guide, inspect the wiring and connectors.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Verification Tests.

2. WINDOW MOTOR
1. Gain access to the vent window motor assembly.
2. Check for any binding conditions in the window.

Was any binding conditions found?

Yes

- Repair or replace the cause of the binding condition.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Verification Tests.

No

- Replace the Vent Window Motor.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Verification Tests.
