Switch Bank Module






900C-ALL DOOR LOCK SWITCH CIRCUIT STUCK IN UP POSITION

For a complete wiring diagram, Refer to the Wiring Information Electrical Diagrams.

- When Monitored:
Continuously.

- Set Condition:
When the door lock switch is held in the upper position for longer than 25 seconds.





1. INSPECT SWITCH FOR DAMAGE
1. Turn the ignition off.
2. Inspect the switch for damage.

Is the switch damaged?

Yes

- Replace the Switch Bank Module (SBM).
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Verification Tests.

No

- Go To 2

2. INSPECT FOR OBJECT OR SUBSTANCE CAUSING SWITCH TO STAY OR STICK IN A PUSHED POSITION
1. Inspect the switch for anything that would cause it to stay or stick in a pushed position.

Is anything present that would cause the switch to stay or stick in a pushed position?

Yes

- Repair as necessary.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Verification Tests.

No

- Go To 3

3. TEST FOR INTERMITTENT CONDITION
1. Turn the ignition on
2. Using the scan tool, record and erase the DTCs.
3. Operate the switch in all positions several times.
4. Cycle the ignition from on to off.
5. Turn the ignition on and wait 30 seconds.
6. Using the scan tool, read the DTCs.

Does the scan tool display 900C-ALL DOOR LOCK SWITCH CIRCUIT STUCK IN UP POSITION?

Yes

- Replace the Switch Bank Module (SBM).
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Verification Tests.

No

- The conditions that caused this code to set are not present at this time. Using the wiring diagram/schematic as a guide, inspect the wiring and connectors.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Verification Tests.
