440E-FRONT LEFT WHEEL SPEED SENSOR-IMPLAUSIBLE

- When Monitored:
Continuously with the ignition on, one invalid message received at least once.

- Set Condition:
When the Anti-Lock Brake Module detects an incorrect wheel speed sensor signal for approximately 200 msec.





1. CHECK IF 440E LEFT FRONT WHEEL SPEED SENSOR-IMPLAUSIBLE DTC IS PRESENT
1. With the scan tool, read the DTCs.

Is DTC 440E Front Left Wheel Speed Sensor- Implausible present?

Yes

- Go To 2

No

- Refer to the ABS-INTERMITTENT CONDITION TEST. Testing and Inspection.

2. WHEEL SPEED SENSOR DTCS
1. With the scan tool, read the DTCs.

Are any other Wheel Speed Sensor DTCs present?

Yes

- Perform the appropriate wheel speed sensor diagnostic procedure.Testing and Inspection

No

- Replace the Anti-Lock Brakes Module.
- Perform ABS VERIFICATION TEST. Verification Tests.
