Outer Tie Rod End
OUTER TIE ROD END
1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the front wheels.
3. Loosen the jam nut (2).
4. Remove the tie rod end retaining nut (4).
5. Remove the heat shield (5).
6. Separate the tie rod end (2) from the steering knuckle (4) using special tool 9360 (1).
NOTE: Count the number of turns when removing this will aid in the installation.
7. Remove the outer tie rod end from the inner tie rod end by unscrewing.
