DESCRIPTION





This vehicle uses a pulse-width modulated EVAP Purge Solenoid (8). The solenoid regulates the rate of vapor flow from the EVAP canister (6) to the throttle body. The PCM controls the frequency at which the solenoid open and closes in order to optimize the fuel vapor volume delivered to each cylinder.
