Removal







REMOVAL

WARNING: Review safety precautions and warnings in this group before performing this procedure and . Failure to follow the warnings and cautions may result in serious or fatal injury.





1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Recover the refrigerant from the rear refrigerant system .
3. Remove the screws that secure the rear condenser cover to the top of the vehicle and remove the cover.
4. Disconnect the wire harness connector (6) from the rear A/C pressure transducer (2).
5. If required, remove the rear A/C pressure transducer.
6. Remove the bolts that secure the rear condenser outlet line (1) and the rear A/C liquid line (7) to the rear A/C receiver/drier.
7. Remove the two screws (5) that secure the rear A/C receiver/drier to the rear A/C condenser (4).
8. Disconnect the rear A/C receiver/drier from the rear A/C liquid line and the rear condenser outlet line and remove and discard the O-ring seals.
9. Install plugs in, or tape over the opened refrigerant line fittings and receiver/drier ports.
