Rear Plumbing - Front Interior Lines
FRONT INTERIOR LINES

NOTE: The interior refrigerant lines for the rear A/C system are serviced in two sections.
NOTE: Rear A/C suction line (driver side) shown. Rear A/C discharge line (passenger side) similar.
1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Recover the refrigerant from the rear refrigerant system .
3. If servicing the discharge line, remove the right side B-pillar trim panel. If servicing the suction line, remove the left side B-pillar trim panel .
4. Raise and support vehicle.
5. Disconnect the underbody refrigerant line from the front interior refrigerant line (3) being serviced and remove and discard the O-ring seal .
6. Lower vehicle.
7. Remove the bolt (2) that secures the rear interior refrigerant line (1) to the front interior refrigerant line being serviced.
8. Disconnect the interior refrigerant lines from each other and remove and discard the O-ring seal.
9. Remove the screws (4) that secure the front interior refrigerant line being serviced to the B-pillar (5).
10. Remove the refrigerant line grommet from the floor panel and remove the front interior line being serviced from the vehicle.
11. Install plugs in, or tape over the opened refrigerant line fittings.
