REMOVAL

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Recover the refrigerant from the rear refrigerant system .
3. Remove the rear roof ducts .
4. Disconnect the rear interior refrigerant lines from the rear expansion valve and remove and discard the O-ring seals .
5. Push back the insulation around the rear A/C expansion valve (2) and remove the two bolts (1) that secure the expansion valve to the rear evaporator tube tapping block.
6. Remove the rear A/C expansion valve from the rear A/C evaporator and remove and discard the O-ring seals.
7. Install plugs in, or tape over the opened refrigerant lines and evaporator tube fittings and all of the expansion valve ports.
