REMOVAL
WARNING: Disable the airbag system before attempting any steering wheel, steering column, or instrument panel component diagnosis or service. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery (ground) cable, then wait two minutes for the airbag system capacitor to discharge before performing further diagnosis or service. This is the only sure way to disable the airbag system. Failure to take the proper precautions may result in accidental airbag deployment and possible serious or fatal injury.

2. Remove the glove box from the instrument panel .
3. Remove the right side floor duct.
4. Remove the screw (2) that secures the instrument panel cover (3) to the lower right portion of instrument panel.
5. Disengage the locking feature and rotate the blower motor (1) counterclockwise until it is loose from the HVAC housing.
6. Gently pull the lower right portion of the instrument panel cover slightly rearward to gain clearance and remove the blower motor from the HVAC housing (5).
7. Disconnect the wire harness connector (4) from the blower motor and remove the blower motor from the passenger compartment.
