Hood Latch - Installation

INSTALLATION





CAUTION: Do not grease or lubricate hood latch sections (2, 4) if hard to move; replace to avoid malfunction.

1. Connect the cable (5) to the latch bottom section (4).
2. Install the bottom hood latch section (4) and line up with marks made during removal.
3. Install the bolts (3).
4. Install the hood latch top section (2) and line up with marks made during removal.
5. Install the bolts (1).
6. Check latch operation and adjust if necessary.
