Fuel Tank - Removal

REMOVAL

1. Release Fuel System pressure Cleaning Fuel System Components Draining Water From Fuel Filter Low Pressure Fuel Pump Test Draining Fuel Tank Fuel Contamination.
2. Drain Fuel Tank.




3. Remove the 2 Fuel Filler Door Fasteners (1), and remove the Gas Cap (2) and Fuel Filler Door (3).
4. Remove the 4 Fuel Filler Tube Panel Fasteners (4) and remove the Fuel Filler Tube Panel (2).




5. Remove the Fuel Filler Tube Fastener (1).




6. Remove the tie straps (2).
7. Disconnect the harness connector (1).
8. Remove the Fuel Filler Tube Grommet (3).




9. Disconnect the harness connector (1).
10. Disconnect the Fuel Feed line (2) and Fuel Return line (3).




11. Remove the center fuel tank strap (1).
12. Support the fuel tank with a transmission jack.




13. Disconnect the Evaporative Emission Vent Line (1) from the Fuel Tank (2).
14. Lower the Fuel Tank.
