Illumination Relay - Description

DESCRIPTION

The illumination relay (4) (also known as the courtesy lamp relay) is an International Standards Organization (ISO) relay. Relays conforming to the ISO specifications have common physical dimensions, current capacities, terminal patterns, and terminal functions. This relay is installed in a relay mounting strip (1) located within the driver side front seat riser beneath the driver side front seat cushion. The relay is connected to all of the required inputs and outputs through five terminals of the connector in the mounting strip.

The illumination relay cannot be adjusted or repaired and, if ineffective or damaged, it must be replaced.
