INSTALLATION





1. Lubricate a new O-ring seal with clean refrigerant oil and install it onto the fitting of the rear A/C pressure transducer (2). Use only the specified O-ring seal as it is made of a special material for the R-134a system. Use only refrigerant oil of the type recommended for the A/C compressor in the vehicle.
2. Install the rear A/C pressure transducer into the rear A/C liquid line (3) located at the left end of the A/C receiver drier (4). Tighten the rear A/C pressure transducer to 10 Nm (88 in. lbs.).
3. Connect the wire harness connector (1) to the rear A/C pressure transducer.
4. Install the rear condenser cover and the retaining screws. Tighten the screws to 2 Nm (17 in. lbs.).
5. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
6. Evacuate the rear refrigerant system .
7. Charge the rear refrigerant system .
