Park Assist Sensor - Installation

INSTALLATION





1. Align and insert the park assist sensor (2) and O-ring into the sensor receptacle on the back of the bumper (1) as a unit. Be certain that the narrow side of the tapered O-ring is oriented towards the sensor membrane and the face of the bumper.
2. Engage the strap (3) over the upper and lower latch features of the bumper receptacle for the sensor.
3. From the back of the bumper, reconnect the wire harness connector (4) to the sensor connector receptacle.
4. Reinstall the bumper onto the vehicle. or .
5. Reconnect the battery negative cable.
