Siren - Installation

INSTALLATION





1. Position the siren (2) and mounting bracket (1) below the battery tray on the left side of the engine compartment.
2. Reconnect the vehicle wire harness connector to the siren connector receptacle.
3. Install and tighten the fasteners that secure the siren mounting bracket to the vehicle. Tighten the fasteners securely.
4. Reconnect the battery negative cable.

NOTE: If the alarm siren module has been replaced with a new unit, the new unit MUST be configured in the Roof Control Module (RCM) (also known as the Overhead Control Panel/OCP control unit or DBE) before the Vehicle Theft Security System (VTSS) can operate as designed. The use of a diagnostic scan tool is required to configure the siren settings in the RCM. Refer to the appropriate diagnostic information.
