9462-OCCUPANT RESTRAINT CONTROLLER CONNECTOR FAULT

- When Monitored:
With the ignition on.
- Set Condition:
This DTC will set if the module detects a connection failure.
Always perform the Pre-Diagnostic Troubleshooting procedure before proceeding. .
Diagnostic Test
1. TEST FOR DTC
Turn the ignition on.
With the scan tool, erase all DTC's.
With the scan tool, read DTC's.
Does the scan tool display this DTC?
Repair
WARNING: The following MUST be observed to avoid serious or fatal injury: turn the ignition off, disconnect the battery and wait two minutes before proceeding.
Check for an intermittent condition by inspecting the related wiring harness for chafed, pierced, pinched, and partially broken wires. Also, inspect the related connectors for broken, bent, pushed out, spread, corroded, or contaminated terminals. Check power and ground circuits. Reconnect any disconnected components and harness connectors and ensure all harness connectors are properly seated. Repair as necessary.
- Perform *RESTRAINT VERIFICATION TEST. Verification Tests
