Tire Pressure Monitoring







9045-IMPLAUSIBLE SIGNAL RECEIVED FROM CCN

For a complete wiring diagram Consult Diagrams/Electrical.

- When Monitored:
Ignition on.

- Set Condition:
The TPM Module gets an implausible signal over the CAN B circuit from the CCN. The circuit is continuously monitored.





Always perform the Pre-Diagnostic Troubleshooting procedure before proceeding. Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview.

Diagnostic Test

1. ACTIVE DTC
NOTE: Diagnose all CAN B and C communication failures before continuing.

Ignition on, engine not running.
With a scan tool, read DTCs.
Is the DTC active at this time?

Yes

- Go To 3

No

- Go To 2

2. INTERMITTENT CONDITION
NOTE: Check for any of the follow conditions:
- Poor wire to terminal connection
- Corroded terminals
- Backed out or loose terminals
- Broken wire internal to the insulation
- Dirty (partial) module ground


Were any of the above condition present?

Yes

- Repair as necessary.
- Perform TPM VERIFICATION TEST

No

DTC is not active at this time. Test complete.

3. CNN IS ACTIVE ON THE CAN B BUS
With the scan tool, attempt to communicate with the CCN.
Is the CCN active on the bus?

Yes

- Go To 4

No

- (Refer to Communications Test for this DTC and/or Manufacturer Code Charts) for No Response diagnostic procedures.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.Verification Tests

4. DTCS STORED OR ACTIVE IN THE CCN
Are any active DTC(s) in the CCN?

Yes

- Diagnose and repair the DTC(s).
- Perform TPM VERIFICATION TEST

No

- Go to 5

5. ACTIVE DTCS IN THE FCM
With the scan tool, read DTC(s) in the Electronic Ignition Switch/Central Gateway Module.
Are any Communication DTCs active in the Electronic Ignition Switch/Central Gateway Module relating to the CCN?

Yes

- (Refer to Communications Test for this DTC and/or Manufacturer Code Charts) for the diagnostic procedures.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.Verification Tests

No

- Replace and program the TPM Module.
- Perform TPM VERIFICATION TEST
