- When Monitored:
Whenever the Power Sliding Door Module is awake.
- Set Condition:
When the PSD module senses voltage that is out of range on the B-Pillar Switch MUX circuit for longer than 10 seconds, this code will set.
Diagnostic Test
1. DTC PRESENT
With the scan tool, record DTCs.
Erase DTCs.
Turn the ignition off, wait 10 seconds, then turn the ignition on.
Operate the Power Sliding Door several times from the Left B-Pillar switch.
With the scan tool, read DTCs.
Does the scan tool display this DTC as active?
Yes
- Go To 2
No
- Using the wiring diagram/schematic as a guide, inspect the wiring and connectors for an intermittent condition.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Verification Tests.
Diagnostic Test
2. LEFT SLIDING DOOR B-PILLAR SWITCH STUCK
Disconnect the Left Sliding Door B-Pillar Switch harness connector.
Erase DTCs.
Turn the ignition off, wait 10 seconds, then turn the ignition on.
With the scan tool, read DTCs.
Does the scan tool display this DTC as active?
Yes
- Go To 3
No
- Replace the Sliding Door B-Pillar Switch assembly.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Verification Tests.
3. CHECK THE SLIDING DOOR B-PILLAR SWITCH MUX CIRCUIT FOR A SHORT TO GROUND
Disconnect the Left PSD C4 harness connector.
Measure the resistance between ground and the Power Sliding Door Switch Sense circuit.
Is the resistance below 10,000 ohms?
Yes
- Repair the Power Sliding Door Switch Sense circuit for a short to ground.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Verification Tests.
No
- Replace the Left Power Sliding Door Module.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Verification Tests.
