7275-IMPLAUSIBLE CRUISE CONTROL MESSAGE RECEIVED FROM SCM

For a complete wiring diagram Consult Diagrams/Electrical

- When Monitored:
Continuously with the ignition on, implausible cruise control message received at least once.

- Set Condition:
When the Anti-Lock Brake Module detects an incorrect Cruise Control Message from the SCM (steering angle sensor or SAS) for approximately 200 mSec.





1. CHECK IF STEERING ANGLE SENSOR DTCS ARE PRESENT
With the scan tool, read Steering Angle Sensor DTCs.
Are there any Steering Angle Sensor DTCs present?

Yes

- Go To 2

No

- Refer to the ABS-INTERMITTENT CONDITION TEST.


2. STEERING ANGLE SENSOR
Replace the Steering Angle Sensor.
Perform ABS VERIFICATION TEST. Verification Tests.
Road test the vehicle.
With the scan tool, read ABS diagnostics.
Did DTC 7275-IMPLAUSIBLE CRUISE CONTROL MESSAGE RECEIVED FROM SCM reset?

Yes

- Replace the Anti-Lock Brakes Module.
- Perform ABS VERIFICATION TEST. Verification Tests.

No

- Test complete.
