- When Monitored:
Whenever the module is awake.

- Set Condition:
When the CD player senses high temperature.





Diagnostic Test

1. CD TEMP HIGH
Turn the ignition on.
With the scan tool, record and erase DTC's.
Turn the CD player on.
Wait 30 seconds.
With the scan tool, read DTC's.
Does the scan tool display D004-CD CHANGER HIGH TEMPERATURE OPERATION-CDC?

Yes

- This is a high temp code. The CD player will automatically shut down when the temperature reaches 70°c (158°f). Allow the CD player to cool to normal operating temperatures before operating the CD player.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.Verification Tests.

No

- The conditions that caused this code to set are not present at this time. Using the wiring diagram/schematic as a guide, inspect the wiring and connectors.
