- When Monitored:
Continuously
- Set Condition:
When the heat in the Passenger Power Window Motor exceeds the specified tolerance, this code will set.
Diagnostic Test
1. TEST FOR INTERMITTENT CONDITION
With the scan tool, record and erase DTC's
Operate the Passenger Window Motor in both directions several times.
Cycle the ignition from on to off.
Turn the ignition on.
With the scan tool, read DTC's.
Does the scan tool display 90A8-PASSENGER WINDOW CONTROL CIRCUIT - HIGH TEMPERATURE OPERATION?
Yes
- Go To 2
No
- The conditions that caused this code to set are not present at this time. Check for any binding conditions in the window track and using the wiring diagram/schematic as a guide, inspect the wiring and connectors.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Verification Tests
2. WINDOW MOTOR
Remove the inner door trim panel.
Check for any binding conditions in the regulator and track.
Was any binding conditions found?
Yes
- Repair or replace the cause of the binding condition.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.Verification Tests.
No
- Replace the Window Motor.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.Verification Tests.
