900D-AUXILIARY HEATER FAILURE TO START (ZHZ)

- When Monitored:
With the ignition on.

- Set Condition:
Flameout occurs repeatedly in a specific amount of time.





Diagnostic Test

1. CHECK FOR ANY POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULES DTCS

NOTE: Make sure the fuel level is not low.

NOTE: Make sure the fuel strainer is not dirty.

NOTE: Make sure the fuel delivery of metering pump is correct.

NOTE: Make sure the fuel line does not contain air.

NOTE: Make sure the glow pin is not faulty.

NOTE: Make sure the combustion air feed or exhaust line is not blocked.

Turn the ignition on.
With the scan tool, read active DTC's.
Does the scan tool display any active DTC's?

Yes

- Repair the Glow Pin Ground circuit for an open.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Verification Tests.

No

- Check the above conditions that can cause a low voltage condition. Repair as necessary.
