900C-AUXILIARY HEATER OVER TEMP (ZHZ)

- When Monitored:
With the ignition on.

- Set Condition:
Flameout occurs repeatedly in a specific amount of time.





Diagnostic Test

1. CHECK FOR ANY POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULES DTCS

NOTE: Make sure the overheating sensor is not faulty.

NOTE: Make sure the temperature sensor is not faulty.

NOTE: Make sure the coolant level is not low.

NOTE: Make sure there is not any air in the cooling system.

NOTE: Make sure the coolant circulation is sufficient.

NOTE: Make sure the circulation pump is not faulty.

Turn the ignition on.
With the scan tool, read active DTC's.
Does the scan tool display any active DTC's?

Yes

- Repair the Glow Pin Ground circuit for an open.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Verification Tests.

No

- Check the above conditions that can cause a low voltage condition. Repair as necessary.
