Removal






REMOVAL
1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the front wheels.




3. Remove the outer tie rod end nut.
4. Separate the outer tie rod (2) from the steering knuckle (4) using special tool 9360 (1).
5. Remove the tie rod end shield (3).




6. Remove the disc brake caliper adapter bolts (1).




7. Remove the rotor set screw (1).




8. Remove the wheel speed sensor nut (2) to the knuckle (3).
9. Remove the wheel speed sensor (1) from the knuckle (3).




10. Remove the lower ball joint nut.
11. Separate the lower ball joint (2) from the steering knuckle (3) using special tool 9282 (4).




12. Remove the lower strut bolts (2) from the knuckle.
13. Remove the strut (1) at the knuckle.
14. Remove the steering knuckle from the vehicle.
