Inner Tie Rod End






INNER TIE ROD END




1. Remove the outer tie rod end (3) Count the number of turns when removing, this will aid in setting the toe after installation.
2. Remove the jam nut (2).




3. Remove the clamps (1) for the inner tie rod boot (2).




4. Remove the stabilizer bracket clamp bolts (3) from the frame This will allow clearance for the inner tie rod end tool move the stabilizer bar (1) towards the rear of the vehicle.




5. Install the special tool # 10087-1 or # 10087-4 socket (1) and # 10087-2 Tube (2) and remove the inner tie rod end.
