Removal






REMOVAL

WARNING: Review safety precautions and warnings before performing this procedure. Failure to follow the warnings and cautions may result in serious or fatal injury.




1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Drain the engine cooling system.
3. Raise and support the vehicle.
4. Disconnect the two wire harness connectors (1) from the auxiliary heat exchanger (4) located on the left side of the vehicle underbody.
5. Loosen the hose clamps (2) and using a twisting motion, remove both heater hoses from the auxiliary heat exchanger.
6. Remove the bolts and washers (3) that secure the auxiliary heat exchanger to the vehicle underbody and remove the heat exchanger.
