Description

DESCRIPTION

A recirculation door actuator is used when equipped with the optional rear A/C system. The rear recirculation door actuator is a reversible, 12-volt direct current (DC), servo motor that is mechanically connected to the rear recirculation-air door located in the rear evaporator housing. The rear recirculation door actuator is contained within a black molded plastic housing (1) with an integral wire connector receptacle (4) and three mounting tabs (2) that allow the actuator to be secured to the driver side of the rear evaporator housing, on top of the vehicle. The rear recirculation door actuator has an output shaft (3) with a spline that connect it to the rear recirculation-air door. The rear recirculation door actuator is electronically calibrated by the A/C-heater control.

The recirculation door actuator can be accessed for service from on top of the vehicle
