Removal

REMOVAL





1. Disconnect negative battery cable.

CAUTION: Observe the position of the turbocharger oil passage housing and gasket. Failure to properly position the gasket during assembly will result in immediate turbocharger failure after assembly.

2. Remove the turbocharger (3). Turbocharger
3. Remove the transmission. Transmission and Drivetrain





4. Disconnect the engine harness and position aside (2).





5. Remove the swirl valve actuator clips (2).





6. Disconnect the swirl valve actuator wire harness connector.
7. Remove bolts and the swirl valve actuator.
