Hood Latch Release Cable: Service and Repair

LATCH RELEASE CABLE

REMOVAL

1. Remove the release handle screws and release handle.
2. Disconnect the cable from the handle.
3. Remove the latch.
4. Route cable through cowl panel and remove from engine compartment.

INSTALLATION

1. Route cable through engine compartment and into passenger compartment as necessary.
2. Install latch.
3. Connect cable to release handle.
4. Install release handle and install the screws.
