Cabin Ventilation Duct: Service and Repair

Removing, installing ventilation housing




1 Nut
2 Ventilation box
3 Nut
4 Screen washer fluid reservoir
5 Clamp
6 Air cleaner cover

Removing, installing

1. Loosen clamp (5), open clamps on air cleaner cover (6), remove air cleaner cover (6)
2. Disconnect plug (8) on wiper motor (7)
3. Remove screen washer fluid reservoir (4)
4. Remove nuts (1), pull ventilation box (2) forwards
5. Disconnect plug connections (11, 12)
6. Lift retaining plate (arrow), remove solenoid valve (13) from rear
7. Detach vacuum hose (16) from vacuum cell (17)
8. Release and disconnect plugs (18, 19, 20)
9. Remove ventilation box (2)
10. Install in the reverse order

18, 19, 20 Plugs

Remove/Install




1 Ventilation box
3 Vacuum line
4 Nut
5 Washer
6 Connector
7 Connector
8 Plug
9 Plug

1.1 Remove top part of charge air distribution pipe
2.1 Remove air intake pipe
3 Prepare ventilation box for removal
4 Release clamps and remove pollen filter cover (2) Remove pollen filter if necessary
5 Disconnect vacuum line (3) from left ventilation box
6 Unscrew ventilation box (1) and gently pull off Unscrew 5 nuts (4) and remove together with washers (5)
7 Disconnect connectors (6 and 7) and disconnect plugs (8 and 9)
8 Install in the reverse order
