P1470-BOOST PRESSURE SOLENOID CIRCUIT NEGATIVE DEVIATION

TEST NOTE
This symptom is diagnosed using the test P1470-BOOST PRESSURE SOLENOID CIRCUIT - PLAUSIBILITY.

WHEN MONITORED
With the ignition on.

SET CONDITION
The Boost Pressure Sensor indicates more boost pressure than the ECM is commanding.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Intermittent condition
- Checking vacuum supply
- Boost pressure solenoid
- Engine control module
