Front Door Latch: Service and Repair

Remove/install front door lock

Remove/install Front Door Lock:

1. Door lock
2. Motor (central locking)
3. Release cable
4. Torx bolt
5. Rubber grommet
6. Connector (light blue)
7. Connector (yellow)

Remove/Install

1 Remove door trim panel
2.1 Pull out rubber grommet (5) between door and A-pillar, unplug connectors (6, 7) and expose cable
3 Unscrew torx bolts (4) for door lock (1) Installation: Replace self-locking Torx screws (4).
4 Remove door lock (1) from front door
5 Detach release cable (3) from door lock (1)
6 Install in the reverse order
